# Mystiska ljud i Devon och Cornwall

Vi har tidigare här på sajten haft med rapporter om mystiska lågfrekventa ljud som hörts världen över.

I dagarna var det dags för Devon och Cornwall i England. Polisen blev nedringd av människor som hört ljud, allt ifrån bullrande till esplosionsartade. Även skakningar i marken rapporterades.

Det kan ha varit en meteorit, säger man officiellt.

Är det som man inbillar sig, rapporteras det bara bättre,  eller är det fler meteoriter nu än förr?

Såsom av en händelse och strax sedan jag skrivit ovanstående fann jag detta på Sotts ang meteoriter och frekvens:

Of course, you might say that this apparent increase _could_ just be the result of us paying more attention, but the numbers don't lie. For example, browsing the right bar links on the above Sott.net blog, you'll notice that in 2004, 2005 and 2006, reports were consolidated into two month periods, and there were, on average, less than 10 sightings over that 2-month period. By contrast, in 2008, reports were plentiful enough to begin collating them into monthly records and, since then, their number has increased steadily."
